God Is Just

Psalm 9:1-16

God will ultimately make right every injustice suffered by His people.

"Early in life, every child learns to say, “That’s not fair!” I remember ours did.
One of the biggest challenges we faced with our three children was treating them fairly—or at least what they perceived was treating them fairly. Invariably, someone felt wronged, someone felt unhappy with Mom’s or Dad’s decision, someone felt obliged to bemoan the situation’s unfairness. My wife and I tried to do our best, of course but soon learned we just couldn’t please everyone every time.
Whoever said life is fair? Certainly not anyone who has experienced loss, betrayal, or injustice. Most adults have some experience with life’s unfairness. Maybe they’ve been on the receiving end of false accusations or been the victims of racial prejudice. The question is: How do we deal with injustice? As believers, we trust God—and work with Him—to make right every injustice His people suffer.

Try to remember the last time you felt unfairly treated. Did it stir within you a longing for justice?"

Think about it.
If God is in control, what does that leave for us to do? Do you ever feel like God is waiting too long to avenge you of something? Are you willing to leave your case in God's hands, trusting Him to right every wrong?
