God Is Revealed

Lesson Passage:
 Psalm 19:1-14

BIBLICAL TRUTH - God has made Himself known in creation and in the Scriptures. Commentary by Bryan Beyer, Professor of Old Testament at Columbia International University & School of Missions in Columbia, SC. A few years ago, my son and I hiked up to Fern Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park, Colorado. We anticipated a great day of fishing, and the Lord gave us that.  However, that day we discovered two other gifts far more precious. One was the joy of doing the hike together. The other was the view from the top, at an elevation of almost 10,000 feet.
Hiking in the Rocky Mountains, walking along the beach as the sun is rising or setting over the ocean, or looking out over the Grand Canyon often causes a person to say, “Surely someone must have designed all this beauty.” Indeed, Someone did! Creation gives a powerful testimony to the power and glory of the Creator. Through His world and also through His written Word, God has revealed Himself to all people.
