Jim was a “cultural Christian” who assumed he was a Christian because he lived a decent life. He became friends with Kim, a young man from an Asian country who had many questions about Christianity. He wanted to learn more.

The community churches held a series of Holy Week services between Palm Sunday and Easter. While attending the services, the two men began to seek answers. They found that true Christians believe Jesus died for their sins, rose bodily from death, and lives today. They wondered whether Jesus’ bodily resurrection is fact or fiction. If it is fact, what is the proof? What difference does it make to them if Jesus really lives? They were impressed with one of the local pastor’s messages and asked for an interview with him. After a series of conferences with the pastor, both men—one from a non-Christian background and the other who had assumed he was a Christian—learned the truth, believed in Jesus as God’s resurrected Son, and received Him as their Savior. This lesson shows why skeptical adults should turn from doubting Jesus’ resurrection to believing Jesus is the living Lord and Savior.
