What This Week's Lesson Is About (Romans 3:21 - 5:21)
Our lesson this week will help you discover that God proved His love for lost sinners by sending Jesus Christ to die for them and give them eternal life rather than leave them to face the punishment they deserved.
Why This Lesson Is Important
When people are ready to admit they are sinners, they usually feel they need to do something to earn God’s favor and to merit their salvation. This lesson announces the good news that even though people can do nothing to earn God’s favor, God loves sinners and offers them salvation as a free gift. All they have to do is accept it.
Knowing our sin is one thing; knowing there is a solution to the sin problem that is wrapped in God’s love is quite another. Our salvation is grounded in God’s love, and our continual walk with Him is grounded in that love relationship. Let His love motivate you to tell others what God has lovingly done for them.
