YOUTH SCAVENGER HUNT - THE DIAMONDS

The youth had a scavenger hunt on Saturday. There were 3 teams. The Aces, The Diamonds & The Hearts. This post is of group 2, The Diamonds. Group members are Brandon, Savannah, Danielle, myself & Kimberly Anderson.

Clue one sent us to the farmer's restaurant - McDonalds. Once you found your clue, there was an item to find, a picture to take & your next clue.

Savannah finds the tennis ball.



We have to do what!!!!.....



.....Build a human pyramid in the play area.



Clue three sent us to the boardwalk on Front Street.



You could earn points for every person you invited to church or shared the gospel with them. Here Savannah is inviting a friend to church.



This clue said to take a picture in front of the fountain.





Here comes group 3, The Hearts. (Seth, Dillon, & Travis Anderson)



And there goes group 3.



This wasn't part of the scavenger hunt. The boat was named the "MISS DANIELLE".



The next clue was about Samson and sent us to where you might get a haircut from Lora. Brandon immediately finds the clue.



Brandon reads the clue....go to Food Lion.



He grabs the next clue.





Look in the rear view mirror, there is our other member, Kimberly. She was the photographer for the group.



Danielle reads to the clue to the group.



Next stop was the closest park, South Island Park.



The clue stated we were almost finished but had two photos to make to earn more points.





We needed to take a picture of them swinging.



Then they were to kick a ball into the soccer goal. We had a pretend ball as you can see.



The next clue sent us to the Belle Isle sign.



When we got there, we could smell something burning. The light was smoking. When Luke hid the card, the lights were not on. Good thing we got there in time.



Brandon burnt his hand trying to pick up the card.



At every stop, we were given a piece of a puzzle. Once you gather all the pieces it was a map showing you where X marks the spot. It was a map of the church yard. It took us awhile just figure out where to look, but eventually we found it.



The Diamonds came in last place, but that's ok. We all had a great time and was glad Kimberly & Travis could join us.
