SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON - AUGUST 31ST
Have you met people who are "Christian chameleons," that is, they change their behavior to match the settings they are in at the time? What does that kind of inconsistency lead you to conclude about a person's character? We usually view such people with disdain and refer to them as cruel, selfish, or hypocritical. But when we're really honest, most Christians would have to admit that our actions don't always match up with our words. We need greater consistency in our expressions. This week's lesson in Hebrews 12:1-15 addresses that issue and answers the question "How can I be more consistent in my Christian walk?"
