FAMILY NIGHT AT VBS!!!

WOW, I can hardly believe it. VBS has come and gone. Great things were accomplished this year. We had 5 decisions made for Christ. The children collected over 1000 can goods & gave over $250 in the offering which will be given to Helping Hands here in Georgetown. We had our biggest enrollment, 99 different children attended, and our biggest one night attendance of 81.

We had all the children come on stage and take a picture behind the cans goods. We are hoping to have this placed in the Georgetown Times.

Savannah presents the American flag during the pledges.

Carson Wall presents the Christian flag.

Isaac Shumard presents the Holy Bible.

The children did a great job showing their parents the songs & movements they learned during the week.

We had a gentleman from Helping Hands come and say a "few" words. He told us this was the biggest donation they had ever received.

We had a great turn out by the parents. I believe this was the highest attendance night for commencement.

Our applie pie winner, was Karis Langston & second place was Ms. Ann Swails. Only two votes separated the two. They both received a "beautiful" homemade blue ribbon and thank you gift.

We ended the commencement with rewarding our teachers with some prizes donated by local merchants.

Our winners were.....

Bath & Body Works, green applie lotion.......Ruthie Ward

$15 Blockbusters card........................Monica McConnell

$25 Applebees card...........................Patty Johnson

$30 TLC Card Wash gift certificate. .........Alice Smith

$15 Starbucks card...........................Anna Davis

$25 Home Depot card..........................Lisa Daniels

Relaxation Basket............................Adline Bullard

Craft project for the week, cow bell.........Josie Thames

$25 Doodlebugs gift certificate..............Donnie Bullard

$10 Sonic card...............................Whitney Crooks

$10 Sonic card...............................Ann Holden

The youth were brought forward and presented a huge lollipop with a note saying, "Thanks for being so sweet"!!

VBS this week was dedicated in the memory of Paul Fanning Sr.

Thanks to everyone who made this week possible. We couldn't have done it without you.
